I am Gary Young, a Mortgage Planning Specialist and Construction Loan Manager here at Island Home Loans. I moved to Hawaii 6 years ago after traveling to the Islands several times a year for over 15 years and finally settled in Volcano with my wife of 20 years.

I began my career 33 years ago with management positions in Banking, Finance Companies and Mortgage Service Providers. With my experience in the mortgage industry, I want to provide my clients the knowledge and information to help make the opportunity of owning a home a reality. Helping you utilize your biggest purchase and asset to the best of your ability and show you wealth building opportunities.

As your Mortgage Planner, I will be your referral source to help you with other professionals you may need such as Accountants, Financial Planners and Attorneys. I also can help provide sources you may need in construction, home improvements and referrals to realtors.

When I am not being your “Go To Person” for information, you will find me involved with community and civic organizations. I am very active with Rotary Club International, Chamber of Commerce and Business Network International. This allows me to give back for all the years of happiness and success.
